FRIDAY

Friday was a pretty regular workday. I am enjoying teaching my Friday evening yoga class to teachers! I teach it in the basement at school, in a room with fluorescent lights that never turn off. On Friday, four people came.

After work, I went to Union Square. I wandered around the outdoor holiday market for a while. It was charming and put me in the Christmas mood. It was not hard to resist buying things. Most of it was ostentatious, like huge puffy fur hats and meticulously carved wooden boxes.

I felt like a spy while taking these photos:

Then I went to see an unreasonably spooky, chilling movie all about Swan Lake,

which I told you about when I called you right afterwards! It was fun to talk to you. Then I went home, Mike having beat me home by about thirty seconds. We made a delicious quinoa-spinach-peanutbutter-sauce dish. Then we went out for a cocktail at a speakeasy-type joint. When I fell asleep in our drink, it became clear that it was time to go home.
